Single tickets for acclaimed interactive and inspirational entertainment series on sale today!
TORONTO – For many, the start of a new year often signals a renewed commitment to achieving long held goals.  The choices are personal, powerful and sometimes courageous.  For over a quarter of a century, thousands of Torontonians have drawn inspiration, insights, motivation and are entertained by the personal stories shared by a host of successful actors, politicians, musicians, activists and news makers during their Unique Lives & Experiences appearance.
Now entering its 25th season, this popular series features people of influence and indomitable spirit who inspire, motivate, entertain and empower audiences. This year’s series focuses Julia Gillard, former Australian Prime Minister and first woman to lead a continent; Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and 11-time Grammy Award winner Linda Ronstadt, who has been unable to sing since she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2012; Nunavut singer and activist Susan Aglukark, “The Arctic Rose of Canada,” 60 Minutes correspondent Lara Logan, who covers politics in the Middle East and was victimized during the resignation of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and eight-time Juno Award-winning singer, songwriter, author, musician and humourist Jann Arden.
Event producer, Howard Szigeti is also pleased to welcome former Canada A.M. co-host and current The Social co-host Marci Ien as the host of the 25th Anniversary Unique Lives & Experiences series.
“The Unique Lives series was built around woman who have made a distinct mark on our culture”, said Szigeti.  “For many Canadians, Marci certainly fits in that category and we look forward to having her as a big part of this anniversary season”.
Equally moving and educational, the series is far beyond the stories told by successful actors, politicians, musicians, activists and news makers.  It is something passionately driven by the groups of women and men who have, for more than 25 years, gathered to share experiences and recognize the amazing contributions made by some of the most influential women of our times.
This year’s season includes:
