Panorama India is all set to celebrate India’s 71st Republic Day on Sunday, February 2nd,
2020 at the Pearson Convention Center in Brampton. The annual event aims to unite the local
Indian community through celebrating our diversity and rich heritage. The Consul General of India in
Toronto, Hon. Apoorva Srivastava and several notable political dignitaries from all levels of the
government will participate in the ceremony and the day-long cultural programming.

“We have immense talent in the community and we are proud to be able to provide a platform to
everybody to showcase their talent,” said Panorama India’s new Chair Sumeeta Kohli.
Bollywood music composer, singer and songwriter, Gurinder Seagal is the celebrity Judge for this year’s
Panorama Idol 2020 and will also present a special live performance at the event.

“The Panorama Idol 2020 finalists are thrilled to have a special guest all the way from Bollywood to
mentor them.” said Panorama India’s Cultural Programming Director, Sumit Ahuja.

The event kicks off with patriotic programming at 11:00 AM followed by opening ceremony at 12:00 PM.
The all-day free event also features a special live performance by Gurinder Seagal, the 11th Annual
Panorama Idol 2020 Finale, a Folk Dance Competition representing various states of India, Kids Drawing
competition, and various cultural performances. The guests can enjoy a variety of food stalls, and a full
marketplace with several clothes, jewelry and vendor booths.
