U.K.’s largest Gurdwara offers the entire 4-Acre site to their National Health Service as a temporary hospital!!

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trustees and Volunteers at Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara (Slough, UK) are offering support to the local community.

Measures include but are not limited to:

  • Offering the entire four-acre site to the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) as a temporary hospital
  • Making Gurdwara volunteers available to the NHS to help with duties and activities
  • Supplying free meals daily to those in need, in partnership with Children Services and Age Concern Berkshire

Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara opened on 13 December 2015 at the site of the iconic Citroën building on Bath Road in Slough. Members of the Sikh community from across the country volunteered more than a quarter of a million man-hours during a two-year refurbishment to transform the corporate headquarters into the UK’s largest Gurdwara.
