Although events and gatherings are cancelled, small farms and businesses – which are an integral feature of our communities – need our support now more than ever. They have formed a collective called York Farm Fresh, to work together to provide our community with healthy food, in a safe manner.

AE Natural Meats – AE will be taking your orders over the phone 905 955 5749 for the near future in order to keep everyone safe. Their pick up hours have been extended for your convenience. You will be able to stay in your car and we will put your package in your trunk. If you are a senior or in quarantine they will deliver to you. Brooks Farms – Brooks Farms has moved to entirely curbside pick up or delivery within Mount Albert area.
ClearWater Farm – ClearWater Farm offers fresh, home grown food straight from the farm to your doorstep through their weekly food basket subscription. As soon as April 15th, they will have veggies grown at ClearWater Farm, and other local products from small farms in the community, ready for delivery to you. With no middleman and no warehouse, their food is grown by reliable young farmers using regenerative agriculture practices that are good for the planet and good for your health. Hamilton Farm have asked for people to book appointments or if they arrive and there is already someone being served, please wait to enter the store until the previous customer is finished.

Niemi Family Farm are offering online sales for their bakings www.niemifamilyfarm.ca ; they also offer free delivery in Mount Albert for orders over $20. Working to keep y’all safe and sound and nourished.
Pine Farms Orchard will be open though with reduced hours and just for take away. Come to the new ‘walk thru window’! Message them if you need something and you’d like to have your order ready.
Pioneer Brand Honey have closed the store however they still take orders with payment via interact or etransfer. Orders can be boxed and picked up at a special pick up location at the farm. Orders are being shipped online orders while Canada Post is in operation.
Round the Bend Farm – Will be open regular winter hours, which are Friday afternoons 12 – 6 pm until Mother’s Day. In order to accommodate those of you who are not well or following self isolation, they’ll gladly put together a box of items for you to pick up at the farm from your vehicle.
Sharon Creek Farm has moved the farm store online, with Local Line. It is easily accessed through their website, https://sharoncreekfarm.ca, and through a SHOP NOW button on their Facebook page. Orders are due weekly on Wednesdays, must be prepaid online or by e transfer, and are available for curbside pickup at the farm on Saturdays from 10 -2. The catalogue is updated weekly.
Simpson Family Farm – are happy to continue providing food, but are practicing due diligence and restricting access to the farm store. They can take order from your car and bring to you. Anyone feeling unwell, please do not visit the farm at this time.
Thompson Potato Farm – have moved their self-serve produce outside and ask that no one enters the building where they are working. There are potatoes, carrots and onions for sale. People who have been travelling, been in contact with someone who has travelled or is sick are requested to not go to the farm.
