The pandemic has put major constraints on many traditions – including the Chennai Music Season. 

As you’re probably familiar with, this five week season is one of the world’s largest cultural events – attracting hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. 

For the first time ever, the Charsur Arts Foundation will host a VIRTUAL December Music Festival. They’ve teamed up with new music streaming platform In.Live (pronounced in-dot-live) so people can participate from the comfort of their home.

The live stream festival will feature 30 internationally acclaimed artists including: Sikkil C Gurucharan, Jayanti Kumaresh, Gayathri Venkataraghavan, K Bharath Sundar and legends like Dr. T.V. Gopalakrishman, Tiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam. (It goes without saying that the festival features many senior and popular Vidwans and Vidushis.)
