Toronto based tech company launches its ‘SUITSUIT’ App, changing the way South Asian Women buy & sell their ethnic wear!
The Suit Suit Company has officially launched its much-awaited app to assist South Asian Women in North America. The app plans to disrupt the fashion industry and allow women to buy and sell their beautiful and intrinsic dresses, better known as “Suits,” while focusing on the environment.
The app will allow users to create “closets” to sell their pre-loved “Suits” and purchase from other users like
themselves. The Suit Suit App will also enable women to buy from well-renowned South Asian boutiques across North America on the “Boutiques Page.” The app makes it easy to find different styles and conveniently post pictures of the “suits” that are sitting in the back of closets after being worn once or twice.
User experience is an essential part of any app platform, and Suit Suit Company has created a unique and easy-to-use interface catered to all audiences. The app has it all from a wide variety of features, allowing users to narrow their favorite outfits by colors, sizes, locations, styles & more. But it doesn’t end there.
There’s more, and you can even visit their jewelry store for all your accessory needs. Brampton fashion designer Kiran Singh founded the Suit Suit Company in 2018, with her husband Amitt Singh,
the founder of “Destawed” North America’s largest destination wedding powerhouse.
“I realized there was a serious problem when my closet space started to become smaller and smaller, filling up with Suits that were being worn once, but never again. A problem I was familiar with growing up in a household with a mother and sister. Experiencing this first hand was a completely different situation.” said Amitt.
CEO Kiran Singh followed up by saying, “Conversations just started to spark after marriage, Amitt started asking me if there was anywhere to sell these outfits? And when I said no, the rest was history, and the journey to solving this generational problem began. We soon realized that if we’re able to build this platform, we would be first of our kind, and we would break barriers in this space.”
As per the World Bank, “The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. At this pace, the fashion industry’s greenhouse gas emissions will surge more than 50% by 2030.”
The Suit Suit Company’s revolutionary app will finally give all North American South Asian Women the
additional closet space they require and the ability to earn from their pre-loved clothing. The app is available on both Google Play and App Store.
