#Markhamcares- collects for children’s charities!

COVID-19 has resulted in greater need in our community this year. With the holidays quickly approaching, the City of Markham is holding two donation drives to help ease hunger and to bring some seasonal joy to children.

Until December 21, 2021, Markham Fire and Emergency Services is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Salvation Army and Markham-Stouffville Hospital’s Children’s Centre.

Until January 10, 2022, the By-law Enforcement and Regulatory Services department is collecting non-perishable, unexpired food (including unexpired pet food) and personal care items for the Markham Food Bank.

Donations can be safely dropped off at any Markham Fire Station. Find the closest station to you at markham.ca/HolidayDrive
