Hello Honey! Secret for Soft, Smooth Skin!

Honey – an essential ingredient in every kitchen, not only tastes good, but has several health benefits. In addition, it is very useful for your skincare routine-for all skin types.

The easiest way to make your skin glow is by using a honey face mask. Ithelps your skin retain moisture to combat dryness. Honey is also rich in antioxidants that help in forming new skin cells to fight ageing.  Moreover, it is naturally antibacterial so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. Apart from these, honey also acts as a gentle exfoliator and pore cleanser to give you a clearer complexion. Thus, honey is a powerhouse for skincare!

Try these simple, different variations right from your pantry!

  1. Combine 1 spoon of honey with 1 spoon of lemon and apply this on your cleansed face. Wash if off after 20 minutes. After washing the face pack off, apply an oil-free moisturizer.

2. Mix Raw honey and a pinch of Turmeric and apply to your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash it off! Viola, you have a glowing skin!

3. Mash an avocado and add honey to it. Now, apply this on your cleansed face. Wash it off after 10-15 minutes. As both the ingredients are gentle on skin, this mask can be used daily.

4. Mix yogurt and honey for a mask like consistency.  Now apply the mask on your cleansed face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it. This can be done once or twice a week.
