Happy birthday, Canada! Mississauga is back and ready to bring the community an amazing Canada Day celebration for its 155^th birthday. Wear your favourite splash of red and white, and make your way to Mississauga Celebration Square (MCS) to enjoy a wide range of activities, entertainment and food from a number of taste bud tickling food truck vendors.  The official ceremony will include greetings from Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Members of Council and special guests. Event attendees are invited to re-confirm their Canadian Citizenship through a reaffirmation oath reading.

There will be no shortage of free family fun for people of all ages to enjoy. Splash away in the fountain, enjoy a retro arcade in the amphitheatre or snap a selfie with roaming entertainers.Catch an incredible concert lineup of Canadian artists, featuring Canada’s most inspiring breakout artist and 2022 JUNO award winner, JESSIA, co-headlining alongside multi-platinum performer, elijah woods. The celebration will be hosted by Mississauga’s own Scott Willats, Mariah Amber and Selena Jasmine. The celebration would not be complete without a spectacular fireworks finale, taking place at 10 p.m. presented by Tim Hortons.
